“The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.”

Election day creates such pride in Americans. It is one of the few times where our opinion truly counts. By casting our vote, we get to help shape our nation. One vote at a time. I love too see people patriotically wearing those little stickers showing they’ve done their civil duty.

I feel sorry for the citizens who don’t excercize their right to vote. If you’ve ever talked to one of these non-voters, they always have a detailed excuse. None that I can understand. I do know this… No voting-No complaining!

After learnng the results from yesterday’s primary election, I am excited and hopeful to see my vote counted toward my choice for governor.

Hope to see you back at the polls November 2!

Make it a great day!
